Parade Your Pooch - All Breed Fun Walk and AGaG Annual Rescue Reunion Picnic

Two Events Merge for One Day of Fun!

Busse Woods, Elk Grove Village, IL

(off of Arlington Heights Rd.)

Sunday, September 25, 2016

Provided by CoolFundraisingIdeas.net

This year AGaG is looking forward to seeing all of you at two of our favorite events … all on one day and in one location! Put on your walking shoes, leash up your dog, and join As Good as Gold at its second annual All Breed Fun Walk in beautiful Busse Woods!  Afterward, relax with old friends, make new ones, and maybe even reconnect with those special dogs who were in your foster care by attending our annual AGaG Rescue Reunion Picnic.

The walk will benefit abandoned and unwanted Golden Retrievers and Golden mixes.  In the past 13 years, As Good as Gold has saved over 2,000 dogs in need; this walk takes a big step forward to helping many more.  The picnic is a wonderful time to socialize in a beautiful setting with people who love Golden Retrievers just as much as you do!

Ready, Set, Walk …then … Kick Back and Relax at the Picnic

Come on out and join the fun!  To participate, click on the “Walk and/or Picnic Registration” link on the left.  Ask your friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers to participate, and most importantly, bring your dog(s)! Well-behaved dogs of all breeds are welcome. There will be more fun to come after the walk … you can shop for AGaG merchandise, enjoy family activities, entertainment, and refreshments, and relax at our annual picnic beginning at 11:00 a.m.

More ways to help with fundraising …

To amplify our fundraising efforts, we have also initiated an on-line giving program.  Donations can be made individually or allocated to a team.  Even if you can’t walk, you can contribute!  Just click on "Create Your Fundraising" tab on the left to create a page or "Find a Team or Individual” tab to donate.  We are also in need of sponsors – to participate, click on the “Sponsorships” tab.

Safety first …

To ensure a safe and successful walk, please review the "Tips for a Safe Walk" tab on the left.
